I see you trying to pick your way from rock to rock to bridge the banks of the river's wide that has never felt less than a hungry canyon. It will feel like a mistake when your feet go in--to walk the bottoms of the beds like the free moose walking up to his knees in the world you are trying to skip over. "I am an explorer," you should say--and then go to the places you're afraid of.
